Animal cruelty charges regarding 59 dogs found

WEST PRICE HILL, Ohio (WKRC) -- The owner of a home where nearly 60 dogs were found in filthy conditions now faces charges.

Local 12 was first to break the story.  Harold Alexander is charged with 42 counts of animal cruelty.  Only our cameras were at the West Price Hill home when the dogs were discovered two weeks ago.

42 of them were cramped into a shed, the rest were found along with 12 rabbits in Alexander's home.

The animals are now being cared for by the SPCA.  Alexander will face a judge next month.
