Sinkhole swallows Corvettes at museum
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WKRC) -- A sinkhole swallows eight corvettes at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
The hole is estimated to be 40 feet across and 25-30 feet deep. Officials at the museum say the received an alert of motion detectors going off just before six a.m.
A structural engineer is now on-site to assess the existing damage. The museum is closed at least for the day
None of the cars affected were on loan from individuals.
