Parking plan drops evening meter hours

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- A revised parking proposal from Cincinnati's mayor drops all evening hours at meters.

John Cranley will present his revised plan to city council Thursday.  The one he introduced earlier this month would have extended meter hours until 9p.m. around UC, in downtown, and Over-The-Rhine.

The plan still calls for a 25 cent increase in neighborhood meter rates to 75 cents and hour.  And the city would triple the number of parking enforcement officers.
