Man mails cash for online purchase

CINCINNATI (Derek Drake) -- A 73-old-year retiree in Australia saw something online he wanted to buy, so relying on what hes used his entire life to pay for things, he mailed the store cash with a note asking for the product.

Trevor Head, 73, was interested in a $15 (AUD) digital breathalyzer from retailer Kogan.

Kogan founder Ruslan Kogan told an Austrailian news outlet it was the sweetest thing he had seen since he launched his website seven years ago.

Kogan responded with a $100 (AUD) gift certificate and an offer to personally show Head how to shop online.

Head said he was very grateful for the gift and confessed to the news agency that he had only started using the Internet two years ago. He added the web generally confused him, "With all those windows popping up."

He also told the news organization it wasnt the first time he had bought something online by mailing cash.
