Local man needs prosthetic leg to fulfill firefighting dream

GLENDALE, Ohio (Larry Davis) -- Matthew Hicks works part-time for two different fire departments.

He'd like to become a full time firefighter.  But to do that, Hicks needs an additional prosthetic leg specially designed for firefighting.  He lost part of his leg in a motorcycle accident last fall.

Hicks' family and friends have launched a fundraising drive to help get him the prosthetic leg he needs.  The second leg would have a boot attached to it so when Hicks makes a run he can attach that prosthetic and get to work.
