Scathing ruling against Judge Tracie Hunter
CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Embattled juvenile court judge Tracie Hunter suffers another legal setback.
Friday an Ohio appeals court issued a scathing ruling against Judge Hunter in her handling of a child custody case.
In the case, a child was taken from its mother and placed in custody of Job and Family Services. After a hearing, Hunter said she would rule on custody in 60 days, but it took her 11 months to make a decision. The appeals court has ruled that delay was a violation of juvenile court rules.
Judge Hunter is suspended from the bench. She was indicted in January on charges of tampering with evidence, forgery and theft from office.
