Scott Dimmich enjoys a much-needed warm day

CINCINNATI (Scott Dimmich) -- Temperatures soared into the lower 70's for most of Tuesday afternoon, a stark contrast to Wednesday's forecast, and all the more reason to savor Tuesday's sunshine.

If you love warmth and sunshine, Tuesday was the perfect day to be outside.  Above average  warmth means a flurry of business at Zip Dip on the West Side.

Chris Torbeck, the owner of the Zip Dip, said, "This weather is fantastic for my business. I think that the winter being so bad made a  difference in our opening weekend.  Sunday was still a little chilly.  But they still lined up  all weekend long."

Alli Miazga, a Zip Dip customer, said, "Can you beat this weather? We've got to take advantage of it before it snows tomorrow. Sunny  and 70, my kind of day."

Just down Glenway Avenue, Emily Bokeno also took the opportunity to make the most of a  sunny, warm day.

"It's great. You can see everyone out on the roads trying to enjoy the sunshine," Bokeno said.

With few days like Tuesday this winter, she decided to go to Star Car Wash and scrub the  latest round of brine off of her car.

Bokeno told us, "I've been keeping up with it. But today was necessary to get out and wash my car."

With it being such a nice day, I decided to get back to my roots.  Just like when I was a  Local 12 intern, I'm out washing and drying cars!
