Former water district employee accused of stealing

ERLANGER, Ky. (WKRC) -- A former Northern Kentucky Water District employee is accused of stealing nearly $14,000 while on the job.

A Kenton County grand jury indicted Debbie Kircher on one count of abuse of public trust. She has already resigned from her position.

If she's convicted, Kircher could face up to ten years in prison. She'll be in court March 17.
