Reported mumps outbreak at Ohio State University

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKRC) -- There has been a recent outbreak of the mumps at Ohio State University.

More students are showing signs of symptoms. At least 13 students have the virus, nine more than the reported cases Thursday.

Students are being asked to wash their hands and take extra precautions. Mumps immunizations are required for young students, but not for college students.
