Dog found hanging on a fence by neck

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKRC) -- A young dog is recovering after he's left to die in Middletown.
His  name is Bear.  He was found hanging on a fence by his neck near South Sutphin Road around 11:30 Monday morning.
The vet says the the Belgian Shepard mix is between 6-and-9 months old and has been a stray in the area for some time.  Police say they're looking for a couple of teenagers who they think did this.

Josh Tippas, a Joseph's Legacy volunteer, said, "We got word that a dog was intentionally hung by his neck from a fence.  And his front paws couldn't touch the ground, but his back paws could so he was literally hanging."

Thankfully, Bear is doing alright, and is expected to fully recover.  He's being held at Joseph's Legacy in West Chester.
Once everything heals, he will be up for adoption which should be in a few weeks.
