Bryan Price sees first Opening Day as manager Monday

CINCINNATI (Mike Berk) -- Opening Day isn't just the start of a new season for the Reds, it's also the start of a new role for Bryan Price.

The former pitching coach is sliding one spot into the lead role, and baseball experts seem to think Price should do well. With Price as a pitching coach, the Reds set a MLB record when six pitchers recorded at least 100 strikeouts for two years straight.

Price has the respect and admiration of everyone in the clubhouse, and he wants everyone to stop and appreciate Opening Day Monday as it only comes around once a year.
