Predator Protection: Wildlife experts address coyote problem

WEST CHESTER, Ohio (Angela Ingram) -- People in West Chester are keeping closer tabs on their homes and pets.

Coyotes have been spotted in the area.  Wednesday night some neighbors learned how to handle the unwanted visitors.  A meeting was held from 7p.m. to 8p.m. at the West Chester Administration Building.

An expert with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources offered tips to scare away the animals.  Homeowners also learned what attracts coyotes so they can reduce the risk of running into the wild animals on their property.
