Runners stop to shake hands with WWII Vet

SAN JOSE, Cali. (WKRC) -- A story that is sure to warm your heart.

95-year-old World War II Veteran, Joe Bell, was watching a race that benefits a foundation for military veterans in San Jose.  He was dressed in full uniform and cheering on the runners.

But what happened next surprised and honored him.

One man breaks away from the pack and shakes Bell's hand.  Then another runner broke away, and another, and another!  Many runners took the time to thank Bell for his service.

Thank you for your service Mr. Bell, and thank you to all those men and women in the armed services who serve their country.
