Nashville murder suspect gets away during I-71 traffic stop

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Police search for a murder suspect out of Tennessee, who gave them the slip overnight.

A sheriff's deputy pulled a white Buick Regal over on I-71 at about 1:15 Monday morning for a traffic stop.  A passenger in the back seat jumped out of the car and ran into the woods off the highway near the Norwood Lateral.

A police dog and a helicopter were brought in but they could not track down the suspect, identified as Terrance D. Brown. He is wanted out of Nashville for murder and robbery. Investigators consider him armed and dangerous.

Brown is described as a black man, 6' 1" and 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark pants and a camouflage jacket. Brown has ties to the Tri-State and at one time lived in College Hill.

Two people in that Buick during the traffic stop were questioned and let go.
