Driver leads police on chase through Colerain Twp. in rental car

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- Colerain Township police say they arrested a driver who led them on a chase in a rental car that ended in a crash early Tuesday morning.

A Colerain officer tried to stop the SUV at Pippin Road and Golf Drive for a lane violation. The driver took off and led police on a chase that went on Neptune Drive in Springfield Township at one point and ended on Adair Court, miles away. The chase lasted about 15 minutes and speeds reportedly reached 60 miles per hour.

The chase ended when the driver crashed through a fence, hit a tree and the SUV landed on its side.
There were no injuries to police or the driver. Police say he's 28-year-old Jayce Lang. Lang faces charges of failure to comply and resisting arrest.  They also say drugs were found in the rental car.
