Crews clean-up hoarder house in East Price Hill

EAST PRICE HILL, Ohio (Rich Jaffe) -- A busy morning as crews work to clear away trash, junk and more from an East Price Hill Home.

According to property records the Clements family has lived at the Atson Lane home since 1970.  Neighbors say they've been trashing the property for years.
Owner John Clements is currently in jail for failing to follow fire department orders to clear out the interior of the home.

Monday, push came to shove as city officials and cleanup crews descended on the home. They hauled away three truckloads of trash and debris that was stacked up in the backyard.

Neighbors have pleaded for help from city and county officials for seven years. They sent a petition to Judge Mock, asking him to take action to force a clean-up.
The problems with hoarding also involved animals. There were a large number of cats there. Neighbors also complained about the number of rodents attracted to the mess on the family's property.
