Suspected serial Subway robber in court

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- A man appeared in court Monday accused of robbing the same Subway location three times in just a few weeks.

Daniel Dezarn faces four counts of aggravated robbery. Three counts are for robbing the Subway on Harrison in Westwood. He's also accused of holding up the Little Caesar's on Harrison.

In each of the hold-ups, police say Dezarn held a gun on employees and demanded cash. According to court papers, the gun was really a pellet gun.

Police caught him after Sunday's robbery. An officer spotted Dezarn and he tried to run off. The officer used a taser to subdue and arrest him. A police dog recovered the gun, a bandana and a jacket behind a nearby house. The stolen money was in a jacket pocket.

A judge ordered Dezarn held on $400,000 bond.
