Patrol Commander charged

WILMINGTON, Ohio (WKRC) -- An Ohio State Highway Patrol Commander  faced a judge Monday on a domestic violence charge.

Michael Sanders is the commander of the patrol's Wilmington station.  Police say Sanders and his ex-wife were involved in a fight Tuesday in downtown Wilmington.

Officers didn't arrest Sanders until Friday.  He spent the weekend in the Clinton County Jail.  Sanders is on leave from the Highway Patrol.
