Seven people taken to hospitals after Harlan Township crash

HARLAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- Seven people were taken to local hospitals after two SUVs collided in Harlan Township Sunday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the crash at the intersection of State Routes 123 and 132 just before 3 p.m.

Investigators say one of the SUVs ended up hitting high-tension power lines. That driver was trapped for almost an hour before being freed and flown to UC Medical Center.

Six others from both vehicles were taken to Bethesda North.

None are thought to have life-threatening injuries.

The power lines came down across 132, causing homes in the area to lose power, but it has since been restored.
