Man trimming tree gets chainsaw stuck in neck

ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WKRC) -- A man is lucky to be alive after a freak accident with a chainsaw.

James Valentine had a chainsaw stuck in his neck after a tree cutting accident in Ross Township, Pennsylvania.

Valentine turned the saw off, held it in place and began climbing down he tree. Paramedics took the saw apart while it was still in Valentine's neck. Doctors were able to stitch up the wound, and he is expected to make a full recovery.

Valenine says he plans to continue to climb and trim trees for a living.
