Jimmy Carter to visit Norwood store

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- A very special guest is visiting the Tri-State on Tuesday, promoting his brand new book.

Former President Jimmy Carter will be at the Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Norwood signing autographs.

The workers at the book store are very excited to host the former president. It's a big boost for them in terms of getting people in the doors.

Carter, the 39th President of the United States holding office from 1977 to 1981, will bring his soft spoken Georgia drawl here.

He won't be speaking to the crowd Or reading from his book. But he will be signing copies of it. The book is titled "A Call to Action" and it focuses on human rights-- particularly for women..

The visit certainly comes with extra steps in terms of security. However, for the store, the steps are well worth it to bring in a guest of this magnitude.
