Colerain chase suspect appears in court

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- A man charged in a rush hour police chase makes his first court appearance Thursday. Alonzo White faces charges of failure to comply, obstructing official business, driving under suspension, and traffic violations.

Officers say White hit a vehicle at Ronald Reagan Highway and Colerain Wednesday afternoon. He then sped away and led officers on a chase.

Police say White drove through yards and hit four more cars before he crashed on Colerain Avenue. They say he bailed from the car and tried to run away.

Police cornered White after a dog bit him. The judge ordered him held on $13,000 bond.
