Traci Hunter criminal case scheduled to begin September 8th

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) -- It will be months before a trial will begin for a local judge who is under the cloud of criminal charges.

Tuesday, Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Norbert Nadel scheduled juvenile court Judge Tracie Hunter's trial for September 8th.  Attorneys on both sides did not comment after Tuesday's hearing.  Hunter has pleaded not guilty to nine felony charges including tampering with evidence, forgery, and theft in office.

She is currently suspended from the bench with pay.  In June, Judge Nadel will hear arguments on motions in the case including a request by Hunter's attorneys that the trial be moved out of Hamilton County because of so much publicity.
