Police catch man who robbed Westwood Subway

WESTWOOD, Ohio (WKRC) -- Police quickly arrested a suspect and recovered stolen money after a Subway in Westwood was robbed Sunday evening.

The man pulled a gun on workers at the Subway on Harrison Avenue just before 7 p.m. Minutes later, an officer spotted the suspect and he tried to run away.

Police hit the suspect with a taser to subdue him. A canine recovered the suspect's gun, a bandana and a jacket where the money was hidden behind a nearby house.

Investigators have not released the name of the suspect.
