Some viewers may need to re-scan televisions

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Time Warner Cable will be making some changes to the QAM frequencies of the Local 12 digital simulcast signal. These changes are planned on or after May 13.

This chance only affects those who direct-connect to digital television without using a set top box from Time Warner Cable. Customers will need to re-tune televisions to receive update QAM frequencies. The down converted analog feed and set-top box channel number will not change.

The affected areas include Dayton, Oxford & Springboro.
