School lunch backlash by students on Twitter

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Are smaller portions pushing America's school children away from eating school lunches?

A social media movement has been gaining steam on Twitter with students tweeting pics of their slimmed-down lunches and sarcastically thanking First Lady Michelle Obama.

The First Lady has been the face of the "Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010". According to the legislation, it is designed to get help school children get more nutrition.

Under the rules, lunches must have, at minimum, a half-cup of fruits or veggies and milk can not contain more than 1% fat. Trans fats were also banned and the minimum calorie levels were raised.
