Firefighters put out fire at St. Bernard chemical plant

ST. BERNARD, Ohio (WKRC) -- Crews were called out around midnight to battle a fire in St. Bernard.

A worker at the Emery BASF Chemicals plant on Este avenue called 911 after a report of flames on the third floor of the six story building.

Companies from St. Bernard, Wyoming, Norwood, Golf Manor, Elmwood Place and Springfield Township all responded.

Crews cleared the scene in less than two hours. They haven't said what was on fire or what started it.
