New twist in charges for death of two-year-old

GHENT, Ky. (WKRC) -- There is a new twist in the case of local parents charged in the murder of their two-year-old son.

The Carroll County grand jury indicted Douglas Allen and Amanda Foster on charges of murder, criminal abuse, tampering with evidence, trafficking in a controlled substance and transferring a controlled substance to a minor.  The couple was arrested after their two-year-old son was found dead in their home in February.  Toxicology reports show the boy had a high level of Oxycodone in his system.

The grand jury also indicted another man in connection with the case.  50-year-old Paul Byers now faces charges of trafficking in a controlled substance and tampering with evidence.
