Our Economy: Name the new Goodyear blimp; GM waited years to recall Saturn Ions with faulty power steering

UNDATED (WKRC) -- Goodyear narrows down the list of possible names for its new air ship, the next generation of its famous blimp.

The Ohio based company has received more than 15,000 suggestions through a naming contest. Some of the finalist names include: Ambassador, Explorer, Inspiration and Pride of Goodyear.

People can vote for their favorites on Goodyear's website for the next three weeks. To vote, click HERE.

And, government papers posted online Saturday show that General Motors waited years to recall nearly 335,000 Saturn Ions for power-steering failures.

This is despite getting thousands of consumer complaints and warranty repair claims.

The issue with the 2004-2007 compact cars caused 12 crashes and two injuries.
