Police apprehend suspect in bank robbery

HARRISON, Ohio (WKRC) -- Within the hour police nabbed a suspect in a bank robbery.
After the Cheviot Savings Bank in Harrison was robbed last Friday police quickly identified their suspect.  Michael Kline was a face officers knew.  Police say 26-year-old Kline held up the Cheviot Savings Bank on Stone Road.  Investigators put in a lot of work quickly to develop leads but one factor that helped them out greatly was an off-duty police officer who was in the area when the suspect ran off.

Surveillance cameras show a man walking into the Cheviot Savings Bank branch in Harrison.  He looks as if he's filling out a bank slip but when he walks up to the tellers he pulls up the hood on his sweatshirt and then demands money.  When officers arrived on the scene there were three clerks and one female victim in the business at the time of the incident.  Despite pulling up his hood police were able to identify Kline in no time.

No one was hurt during the robbery.  Police say Kline was picked up Thursday afternoon at a motel in the Dayton, Ohio area.
