Ind. man arrested for allegedly sending death threats to Boehner

NEW CASTLE, Ind. (WKRC) -- An Indiana man was arrested by the FBI after investigators say he made death threats against House speaker, John Boehner.

The FBI arrested Brandon Thompson at his New Castle home Thursday night.

Federal prosecutors say he sent threats via email and phone calls over the House's failure to pass an unemployment extension.

The FBI says he sent an e-mail to Boehner that read:

"You want to play with 2.7 million peoples' lives, I am going to take yours. You will never see it coming with my sniper rifle."

They say the 32-year-old's benefits ran out in January.
