Police hold press conference on death of Dulle

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Cincinnati PD held a press conference on Tuesday to update the public on the death of UC student Brogan Dulle. The 21-year-old was found in the basement of the building next to his apartment.

The coroner has positively ID'd the body as that of Dulle, with the cause of death as asphyxiation by hanging. The police say that nothing they've found leads them to believe this was anything but suicide.

Police believe Brogan Dulle broke into the vacant home through a window off of a fire escape, using a crowbar that was found in the third floor room. He then made his way to the basement. They say that unless the light was turned on in the basement, it would have been hard to see the body in the corner. A bottle of wine was located near Dulle's body.

Police say they have not found any notes or electronic communication that would offer any insight into Dulle's death. There is no indication from his family or friends that the young man had intentions to harm himself.

Police are unsure of events leading up to the suicide but it is clear from video evidence that Dulle was making a concerted effort to find his lost cell phone. The phone has yet to be found.
