Hamilton county officials call for firing of Sewer District director

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) -- Hamilton County commissioners and the county administrator are calling for the firing of the Metropolitan Sewer District director, Tony Parrott.

A letter sent to the interim city manager accuses the Sewer District of $87 million in cost overruns.

The county and city jointly operate the Metropolitan Sewer District; the city runs the utility, and the county approves its budget.

The letter also claims systematic management problems that have created a culture of fear, poor morale and significant financial risks to taxpayers.
