Father of child who died told he owes child support
CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- A west side man was on the hook for $18,000 in child support, but it was for his daughter who had been dead more than 30 years.
Tanya Hogan was killed in 1981 when she was 3-years-old, but Job and Family Services says they never received any notice she died, so they started taking money our of James Jenning's social security checks.
Thanks in part to Angela Ingram's effort in digging up Tanya's death certificate, that amount has gone down significantly.
Jenning now owes about $2,000 for the time that Tanya was alive.
