Sinkhole swallows cars in Baltimore
BALTIMORE (WKRC) -- A block-long sinkhole opens up in a residential neighborhood in northeast Baltimore, sucking in at least eight cars and forcing the evacuation of homes.
The sinkhole opened next to railroad tracks used by CSX. A block of row houses was evacuated and a building inspector is investigating.
No one was hurt. One witness says it looked like a landslide. Rain has drenched central Maryland for more than 24 hours.
