Two charged in Amelia with making meth

AMELIA, OHIO (WKRC) -- Two people face charges for making meth in Amelia.

A Clermont County sheriff's deputy arrested Laura Buchannan and Andrew Chase Saturday night.

He stopped their car near the intersection of State Route 125 and Church Street in Amelia.  A dog searched the car and alerted the officer to the smell of drugs.

The deputy found an active methamphetamine lab known as a one pot cook in the trunk. Buchanan and Chase each face on count of illegal assembly.
