Judge changes his mind, bond more than doubled in murder case

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- A local judge does an about-face and more than doubles the bond for an accused killer.
Nigel Pitts was in court Friday morning to face a charge of aggravated burglary.  The hearing comes one day after a judge set a 200,000 dollar bond on a murder charge.
Pitts is accused of killing 68-year-old Lee Henley in his apartment on Alaska Avenue in Avondale.  Friday the judge upped Pitts' bond on the murder charge to 400,000 dollars and added 50,000 dollars for the burglary charge.
