21-year-old woman carjacked in Westwood

WESTWOOD, Ohio (Angela Ingram) -- Three men hold a 21-year-old woman at gunpoint, stealing her belongings and her car.
The men pointed a gun at the woman as she was leaving work.  The victim told Local 12's Angela Ingram the robbers pointed a gun with a laser sight on it at her.  While the laser sight was on her and her boyfriend the victim did what she thought was best, cooperate.

Early Tuesday morning Taylor Brackett and her boyfriend had just finished closing a bar at Applegate in Glenmore.  When the couple tried to get into Taylor's car, they found themselves staring down the barrel of a gun.

Brackett said, "As we approached my car three gentleman jumped out from behind the bushes.  One had a gun.  It had a red laser on it pointed at us."

The men robbed the couple of their belongings then drove off in Taylor's car.  It's a dark blue, 1994, Toyota Camry and she is hoping someone will spot it.

"It's got, 'Tay' under the left, driver's side handle.  Short for 'Taylor.'  I've got a parking pass for Christ Hospital on the left hand side and Children's parking pass on the right," she told Local 12.

The thieves didn't pull the trigger but the experience changed Taylor.  They didn't just steal the 21-year-old's car, they stole her sense of safety.

The suspects were last seen heading down Applegate towards Cheviot.  Taylor says in addition to those identifying characteristics there was also some rust under the gas tank on her car.
