Yard Crash Benefit for local boy losing sight has big reveal

BRIDGETOWN, Ohio (WKRC) -- A west side teen who's losing his sight has some help getting around his home and yard thanks to a caring contractor.
It's a story you'll see only on Local 12 News.  Connor Lohmiller has a rare eye condition called Stargardt's Disease.  When Justin Kromski heard his friend's son, Connor, was losing his vision, he jumped into action.
He started a project called "The First Annual West Side Yard Crash."  Crews modified Connor's yard at his home in Bridgetown to make it easer for him to get around safely.  This weekend workers unveiled the project to the family.

The makeover included getting rid of sharp edges along the walkway to the front door of the home, taking out posts and rocks.  And what's a backyard without a whiffle ball diamond?!

Kromski also proposed to his girlfriend during the event.  She said yes!
