Local man graduates top of class at West Point

WEST POINT, NY (WKRC) -- President Obama delivers the commencement address at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point Wednesday.
"The question we face, the question you will face is not whether America will lead, but how we will lead.  Not just to secure our peace and prosperity, but peace and prosperity around the globe," says President Obama.
The president also talked about how the U.S. must show restraint before rushing into military operations overseas. The president outlined his foreign policy vision for his final two years during today's commencement at the U.S. Military Academy.

Mr. Obama says the U.S. Is emerging from a long period of war but he says isolationism isn't an option in the 21st century.

The first person to receive a diploma during today's West Point graduation is a tri-state native. Louie Tobergte is from Burlington and is a graduate of St. Henry High School. Tobergte graduates top of his class with the highest cumulative performance score.
