Tiny homes are growing trend
OLYMPIA, Wash. (WKRC) -- There's a new trend in housing across the country that has some arguing bigger isn't always better.
People are buying tiny houses that are no larger than two hundred square feet. That's about one fifth the size of a mobile home. They can be towed and are street legal.
The hobbit-sized habitats are legal, and they cost about $25,000. One owner says her utilities are about $8 a month. Most of the houses have one burner stoves, loft beds and only the basic necessities.
