Crews assessing damage from Baltimore sinkhole

BALTIMORE (WKRC) -- Last week a massive sinkhole left nearly two dozen people without homes in Baltimore, Maryland.

A street collapsed, swallowing at least six cars.

The road buckled after nearly five inches of rain fell in 24 hours.

Baltimore city officials say crews are assessing the damage and are figuring out how long the damage will take to repair.

They say because of ongoing safety concerns, residents could remain displaced for up to 40 days.

No one was hurt.
