Cell phone video captures some final moments before South Korean ferry sinks

SEOUL, South Korea (WKRC) -- Shocking mobile phone video shows some of the heartbreaking final moments before a South Korean passenger ferry sinks.

The teenagers were slow to grasp the true danger.

Announcements over the intercom told them to stay where they were, even as the ship tipped over.

Some cracked jokes, others realized they were in serious trouble and some struggled with their life jackets.

The 17-year-old who shot the video was one of the 325 high school students aboard the ferry on April 16.

The video was discovered on the teen's mobile phone when rescuers recovered his body.

The tragedy left more than 300 people dead or missing.
