Double Homicide in Mt. Airy

CINCINNATI (Brad Underwood) -- Cincinnati Police are investigating a shooting that left two dead in Mt. Airy early Saturday morning.

Officers were called to an apartment on the 2700 block of W. North Bend Road for reports of multiple people shot. According to police, 24-year-old Beyoncia Willis and 31-year-old Keelin Broach were both pronounced dead at the scene.

At least one other person was also shot. Neighbors told Local 12 news a woman jumped from a second floor window and ran away to call police.

It's not yet clear what led up to the shootings.

Dorris David lives in the complex and says this type of violence concerns her because there are several children who live in the complex.

"I got grandchildren, they live right there, yeah it bothers me, what if they were out here?" said David.

David added the complex is pretty safe, but recently the landlord installed security cameras on the outside of one of the buildings.

"He actually put those up to protect us, in case this happens so they can at least see people coming in and coming out," said David.

Police have not released suspect information or released information on what the cameras may have recorded leading up and after the shooting.

Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to call the Criminal Investigation Section at 352-3542 or Crimestoppers at 352-3040.
