Cincinnati VA Medical Center opens new imaging center
CORRYVILLE, Ohio (WKRC) -- The timing is just coincidence, but the Cincinnati VA Hospital dedicated a new eight million dollar radiology imaging center today.
The center includes nine thousand square feet, new CT scanners, new MRI machines, new recovery and waiting space. Officials expect the new equipment to reduce wait times and provide better service to veterans.
One veteran, who received care at the Corryville facility, says care has improved through the years, but there's always room for improvement.
The VA Medical Center has done 58 thousand patient procedures during the fiscal year that started in October. It serves veterans in 17 counties in our general area.
