Humane Society of Northern Kentucky collecting donations for starving horses

KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) -- A community is asking for help as they try to help the horses at the center of an alleged animal cruelty case.

15 horses are being held as evidence. Last month deputies found 49 dead horses and dozens of live horses on a farm in Pendleton County. They say the live horses were starving when they raided the farm.

The Humane Society of Northern Kentucky is accepting donations of hay on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Kenton County fairgrounds.

You can make cash donations at any Bank of Kentucky location or online HERE.
