Miami Professor: My heart bleeds for captive girls

CINCINNATI (Larry Davis) -- A trip to school ended with more than 200 girls in the grasp of the militant group, Boko Haram.

Monday, Boko Haram released a video showing nearly half of the girls.  A Miami University Professor from Nigeria says his heart bleeds for them.  Local 12 News reporter Larry Davis has a look at what it's like to watch what's is happening from so far away.

The campaign on social media to keep the girls in the spotlight continues with the hashtag, #bringbackourgirls.  As part of that campaign the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati holds an interfaith gathering on Thursday at 7:30p.m. on the Miami campus in West Chester.  Everyone is invited to join in prayer for the safe return of the girls.
