4-year-old helps solve crime

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. (WKRC) -- Police solved a robbery and they have a 4-year-old girl to thank for breaking the case.

A babysitter was taking care of Abby Dean when two men stole a bunch of items from the home.  The babysitter blamed a neighbor who was cuffed and put in the back of a cruiser.
After interviewing him, police didn't think he was the right suspect and let him go.  Then, they interviewed Abby who gave them some key information.  Eventually, the babysitter confessed she'd given a list of items to her boyfriend and asked him to steal them from Abby's home.

"The bad guys stole my kitty bank, they stole my iPod. They also stole my Xbox and my Wii," the little girl said.  "That was really her being bad. She's not a good babysitter."

The babysitter, her boyfriend, and his friend were all arrested.  The neighbor is relieved Abby told police what she saw.
Abby got back all of her stolen items and police are calling her a superhero.
