Bear spotted in Madeira, may head to Indian Hill

MADEIRA, Ohio (Rich Jaffe) -- The black bear wandering through the Tri-State may now be headed towards Indian Hill.

The bear was first sighted Friday on Miami Avenue. People then saw him at a small park called McDonald Commons and behind Paxton Lumber. Two runners got a glimpse of him at Shawnee Run and Camargo.

The young male bear may finally be heading to areas more suited to his needs. In Indian Hill there are fewer people and more woods and creeks. There are also fewer cars and less of a chance of being hit by one.

So even though there have been fewer sightings Friday, bear fever has not lost its buzz in Madeira.
