Gas leak in O'Bryonville

O'BRYONVILLE, Ohio (WKRC) -- A backhoe struck a four inch natural gas line in O'Bryonville, causing street closures and evacuations Tuesday.

Crews were working on Madison at Cinnamon when the line was struck at about 10:45 a.m. Duke Energy crews dug a hole in Madison Road to reach the valve and turn off the gas.

Evacuations have been lifted. Madison remains closed as crews fix the pipe and the hole in the road.
